Hey friends, what vehicles do you think could use a little RTR love? What vehicles would look great with the 'RTR look'?
I'll specify that a little with pictures below.
(THESE ARE ROUGH ESTIMATES)
Stage/Spec 1,2
Black on black. or White/black on White (Sometimes with yellow fog lights or specialized grille/decklid)
(Supercharged) Stage/Spec 5, my favorite, and the most iconic for its associated with VGJr and Monster (Green + Black/Silver)
(Supercharged) Stage/Spec 3 and Spec 3-Carbon (-C) (red + silver) and (black +yellow, respectively)
Visually describe what your vehicle might look like, plus what Stage you would categorize it under. Mechanically estimate its performance. Finally, is it a drifter, jumper, or a track car? What brand is the shell? What transmission/drive would you put in it? What motor would you use? Finally can you come up with a two-tone color scheme that might work well with the RTR idea?
I imagine a 240DL or a 740Turbo with a Ford v8 or 2.0 Supercharged Ecoboost rocking a Spec 5 look.
I also imagine a 93 SVO or a LX with an AWD and six speed Manual and a double-whale tail from a Sierra Cosworth. (kind of a 90s Hoonicorn) WRC-RTR
I also imagine a a 69-71 UK Escort RS-RTR
I also want to take a retired P71, Spec-5 it, and with state trooper affects, put a green Liberty light bar on it. Hoon it at fundraising events so I can use the green lights legally.
I would also take an Old Defender 2-door or ready-for-death G-Class. And RTR-Ford5.0 swap it.
